Name: Grace Freeman, originally Elena Dmitriev
Age: 256, looks about 20
Species: Vampire
Abilities:
-Superhuman speed, strength, reflexes, senses

-Speaks Russian, English, and French fluently
History: Grace was originally a peasant girl from the Russian empire in the eighteenth century. She was a serf in an area owned by a nobleman who had an obsession with French ballet. One day while out walking, said nobleman saw little Elena dancing in her family's farmland, and had her brought to his home so that she could be a part of the ballet troupe that he was trying to put together for his own amusement. He had a trainer there so that she would properly learn how to do everything correctly, and was beaten for getting the smallest thing wrong.
It was a wandering noble who took an interest in the now young woman dancing in the Russian nobleman's ballet that changed her life forever. The nobleman only visited her owner at night, but her owner was one to stay up late and make the dancers perform for him over and over again, so it didn't strike any of them as odd. It should have, though. It was during one night that this 'nobleman' revealed himself to be what he truly was: a vampire. He killed everyone else in the noble's home and took Elena with him into the night.
She was embraced to basically do the same thing for this vampire, but, after a few years, managed to actually escape him now. She was tired of dancing for people for their amusement. She had spent most of her life doing just that, and now she had a new opportunity to live for herself, she decided to take advantage of it. She eventually ended up in America, and, in the 1920s, started working for a gangster, eventually being trained in both hand to hand combat and with guns. She now works as an enforcer for Benjamin Bale.
Personality: She initially comes off as a bit on the quiet and even cold side, but she can actually be friendly if a job requires it. She's more of a chameleon than anything else, so it is hard to tell what her true personality is like. The person most likely to see it more than anyone is Benjamin Bale and her work associates, during which she is cordial and even willing to joke with them, but gets completely serious once it comes to her work, which she enjoys. |
